I loved this cave for many reasons. My tour guide I believe was the owner, not a college student reading from a script. This cave had a cave passage that made me bend, go sideways, and walk around mud... read more »
Very scenic and beautiful. The cave was cool and very interesting, with "cave pearls" that were unique, unlike other formations I've seen in nearby caves. The staff was friendly and eager to help. The campground was peaceful and serene with beautiful cabins as well as tent sites. Highly recommend the cave and staying at their campground. Loved it!
Rich with native American history, breath taking caverns, friendly staff and beautiful scenery. My kids and i love ZSC!!
I've basically grown up here! Met life long friends and learned so much! Once I spent my whole summer here..the events get a little rowdy but they have security through out the park so I don't worry really. The pow wows are a gorgeous cultural experience and I recommend bringing a camera for sure! They recently fixed up the cabins but as a kid I was always super excited when my grandma got us a cabin!! The museum tour is cool because being that close to such artifacts take my breath away. And I always loved the cave. I've been with these people so long they are literally family. Highly recommend giving it a visit!
yikes and another yikes...for all of you liking it..well join in the party of chaos...for one I have been there four times ,,each year hoping they would take some interest in taking care of God's country..so much for Native beliefs...it is not maintained, the entry way still has the same old rotted wood structure for check in when they are busy...the gift shop filled with employees..not greeting you but giving just a dazed look,,the last time we were there was the LAST ..as the little old man in the wheel chair was out in the yard area yelling at employees???to move something in the yard..all looking at him in a daze..and in the beautiful wilderness the sound of bullets flying from the shooting range nearby...so much for going to the caverns as we were afraid we wouldn't get out safely..this place should be shut down..clean it up make your heritage proud
This is truly the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
