  • Used to be THE place to go when I was a kid, but people have given up on maintaining the little Shop and the prices are outrageous, almost $16 for a lb of fudge, and a little over $5 for half of a pound of gummy bears that you can buy online and pay the same price for 5lbs...it's THE definition of a tourist trap. It was also the only place I have gotten sass for my choice of fudge, they give you a choice of one free sample of fudge and I chose the Orange Cream one, the person who was serving the fudge kept mocking me "This is kiddie fudge", the person I brought with me picked Butter Rum and the server said "That's adult fudge!" There was no need for the rudeness. The only reason I didn't give it one star was because I still have good childhood memories of coming here, but those memories are quickly being replaced by the idea that this place is simply a tourist trap and nothing else.
  • As a diabetic, walking in to Perry's Nut House is the equivalent of navigating a minefield... As someone who likes to buy silly junk, likewise. Have your loved one wait in the car with your wallet and duct tape your mouth closed... the fudge is to die for which is exactly what will happen anyway of allowed to spend your life savings on knick knacks...
  • Kind of a historic place. I hadn't been in for years. Kind of bummed that it has changed so much. Not as large of a candy selection as before. Lost a bit of it's magic.
  • My parents took me there when I was little and I took my kiss there also. I was very disappointed, they really don't have much there anymore. Won't be going back.
  • Awesome, funny, Maine run environment/business with fudge samples and cool souvenirs!
