  • Great vistas. Beautiful view from the rocky cliffs. Very little protection though, so one needs to be careful. But worth the trip up there.
  • One of the best stops on the North Shore of Lake Superior. You can really see miles away the exposed granite cliffs that make up the geology of the ancient Minnesota Arrowhead region. This is supposedly some of the oldest exposed rock on Earth and the view is breathtaking! But Caution! Do not let little kids wander off!! It's 300 feet straight down to the water below.
  • Stunning views! ...and a unique experience. I always recommend that visitors to the North Shore check out Palisade Head.
  • If you want to stop here get ready for fantastic views high cliffs lots of rock outcrops great for pictures good parking, Its a state Park I believe, very nice!
  • Awesome views of the lake and cliffs. Dangerous, probably not safe for small children or those afraid of heights. There is little to no safety railings. Convenient parking lot steps from the edge.
