  • We loved seeing and learning the history of crabbing and the oyster industry. And they had a huge tank of fish to see. Not too mention the great views of the bay. Great for all ages  more »

  • Beautiful and informative! Friendly people and incredible displays from ceiling to floor! If you haven't been there, you MUST go and for all ages. It's free but donations are appreciated.
  • We went with a school field trip so my opinion may be a little skewed. The facility is wonderful. They don't have a ton of stuff but the stuff they do have is high quality. My son and I really enjoyed the tank in the back room with all of the little fish in it. Great way to burn and hour or two.
  • I did a tour with my homeschool group. The staff was knowledgeable and the exibits were well put together. The boat ride was informative and I learned quite a bit, but the staff had an odd tendency to put things akwardly.
  • Small but very cool. My 2 year old had a blast.
  • I've visited the Maritime Center several times. What an incredible learning experience it is - in understanding, appreciating and supporting the local ecology. Kudos for creating such a valuable opportunity for kids, adults, families - all of us!
