  • Such a breathtaking place. We went kayaking and had a wonderful time with a company that is stationed there. The owner, Mike, is amazing. He gave us an informative tour as we paddled through the river. We had such a great time. If you're ever in Beaufort, make sure you head down to this area for a very serene experience.
  • We go here every year. If you're looking for a great place to relax this is it! Beautiful surroundings, friendly town and a great variety of food choices! Our family has made it a tradition to come here every year for many years. It's so special to now watch grandchildren having a blast.
  • The Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in Beaufort is a great park that is beautiful and well maintained. I really like that this park runs a long length of the waterfront and there are there are perfect views of the water no matter where you are at the park. The walkway along the water is well paved and easy to walk. One of my favorite parts is the swings that face towards the water as there seems to be enough swings for everyone to enjoy even when the park is crowded as this is not the case in all waterfront parks that have more limited swing availability. There is also a lot of grass and green space at the park that is perfect for having a picnic or running around. Overall I really enjoyed this park and want to return soon.
  • This is a neat little beach park. It's right on the water, but also a short walk to the town's main street. There are lots of shops and food places (even a couple of coffee shops) close by. The park itself seems well maintained and in good order. Everything was clean. We didn't interact with any staff, but I'm sure they're just charming. Would go again.
  • Great little park beside a fantastic bridge. Was out here inspecting a bridge for the DOT, and this park caught my eye. Maintained really well and very clean, with a great amount of shade and plenty of restaurants and other attractions nearby to visit
