  • This is a nice state park to spend a day with family or for a family party. They have lot of areas available with advance booking that allows you to have Pavilion setting. The park has good size pond for boating, kayaking activities. Also contains the zipline activities that is becoming very famous. The park areas are well maintained.
  • Great park for the kids. Has boat rentals and a playground. Plenty of pavilions and picnic benches to host family and business events. Great trails and a dog park. They also have a horse trail. There is also a Go Ape zip line attraction here, though I have yet to participate in it.
  • Why is there an 8 person limit per campsite if six people can't talk around the fire without being constantly hounded by the park rangers??? We stayed 2 nights. First night there was only 4 of us chatting. The park ranger came by, said that it was a 30 min past 10 when the quiet hours start and that we were being too loud especially that close to the street... Second night we moved our fire ring ( with permission) to the back of the campsite and tried to keep our voices low. Still the ranger came by said that he had been watching us for the past 10 min ( creepy) and we were still being too loud especially with all the noise we were making by throwing our beer cans in the recycling bag!!! He threatened to throw us out! I mean come on! The campground itself looks more like a park than wilderness. No hot water though so that should make you feel closer to nature.
  • Been going here since I was a kid. Great to see the constant upgrades and great care invested in the place. My fav place to hike!
  • Very nice park...my husband have camp hosted at Trap Pond...which is great also. Only negative thing at Lums the pads for camper are unlevel and not long enough. But great place.
