Hudson Beach Glass, Beacon

(4.6/5 based on 60+ reviews on the web)
Founded in 1987 in Beacon, New York, Hudson Beach Glass is an internationally recognized glass design and glass studio. Founders Wendy and John Gilvey, Jennifer Smith and Michael Benzer have been hand-casting functional and sculptural glass objects for more than 25 years.

In 2013, Hudson Beach Glass celebrated the 10th anniversary of its retail showroom, gallery and glass blowing demonstration studio, built into a restored 3-story, 19th century firehouse on Main Street.

The Maple Street workshop and Main Street showroom are both located in one of the region’s fastest growing small cities, sought after for its arts community and cultural offerings. The firehouse, convenient to Metro-North and mass transit, also offers glass-blowing classes year-round and hosts curated fine art exhibitions in the gallery.

  • This place is really cool. We were mesmerized by the people making the glass. Loved watching it! The prices are reasonable for handcrafted glass. Check it out!
  • Live glass making is interesting to watch. Their glass creations are lovely but they are quite proud of them and they are not cheap.
  • Great selection of amazing work.
