Fantasy Island Amusement Park Reviews
We have been going to L.B.I. for five years. The Fantasy Island Amusement Park is located right next to Bay Village (Outdoor mall), water park, and mini golf. The amusement park is a great time for ev... more »

Took my family to Halloween horror which cost me $137. It was the biggest joke. Website showed four haunted houses and all Kinds of stuff. Three of the haunted houses were 10x15 storage containers. To... more »
Been a while since we were here... Since last we were here, all games updated to use an RFID card based system instead of old fashioned tokens and tickets. Only saw one game in entire arcade that was out of order... Nearly everything was working (virtually unheard of in the arcades we have taken our kids to over the years). Employees friendly and helpful. Tons of machines for checking card balance or adding value/purchasing new cards. Card dispensers accept cash or credit/debit cards. Lots of carnival style games in addition to more traditional arcade games. Games that appeal to all ages and skill levels. Games range in price from $0.25 per play to as much as $3.00 per play (or possibly more but I think $3.00 was the highest I saw) with the vast majority being in the $0.50 to $1.00 per play range. Two very minor criticisms- could use more low value prize options at the prize counter and it was very easy to make a mistake and scan the RFID card multiple times at a game - my son inadvertently scanned his card 5 times at the first game before I noticed what he was doing and stopped him. No big deal as he just ended up playing the game 5 times in a row but just something to be mindful of. Overall a great experience. Both kids (ages 8 and 13 had a blast, as did my wife and I).
This place is classic for families and pre teens. We have been going since the 80’s and not much has changed. Fun, carny games, sugar, rides, and arcade. My 5 year old loves it and they recently upgraded the points in the arcade from tickets to digital. You gotta go if you are staying on the island with kids.
Great place to go during the evening hours. The kids can play video games or go on a ride, even enjoy a little ice cream. It’s also surroundened by local shops to peruse. If you’re into sunsets head over before hand and get on the Ferris wheel, it’s a beautiful view.
If their cost per ride was more affordable I would rate them 5 stars. The Arcade is all digital now like Dave and Busters which is convenient but we miss the nostalgia of having paper tickets after playing the game. Its clean, well staffed while we were there... free parking on all four sides of the block they're located on... by the water so its great for photos at sunset... by the Ship Bottom Brewery as well... so you can skip over there for a few craft beers in between games...games are fairly priced... rides are just a bit much. You can easily spend more than you budget for here, so plan accordingly. I like they have the original versions of rides like the scrambler... and actual tilt a whirl..not a knock off with a different name. Our 4 year old daughter loves it and as long as she does... we will keep going each summer when we are in town.
Love LBI and this park...always have to do ferris wheel!
