  • Took our granddaughter to see the ship her grandfather served on. Took lots of pictures. It's a work in progress. Enjoyed seeing photos of the ship in service.
  • We stopped by the U.S.S. Edson display in the Saginaw River during the Tall Ship Celebration 2016 weekend. We were on the way to visit the Saginaw River Rear Range Light and our shuttle bus stopped at the ship so we visited the ship on the way. It looks nice sitting in the river, and looks good even when it still needs some renovations. I thought it was very cute that their little landing craft on display was called "Ed's Son"😁
  • I haven't had a chance to go on the ship yet but even from the shore it's a magnificent piece of history.
  • My first time in a warship. It was so cool.
