Lewisville Park is a 154-acre regional park located two miles north of Battle Ground in Clark County, Washington. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.HistoryThe park was built starting in 1936 as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) recreational center project. The architecture and overall design of the park is intentionally rustic, a common idiom promoted by federal land management agencies in the early part of the 20th century. Lewisville park is the oldest in the county park system and is one of the most significant and lasting examples of the WPA in Clark County.Several of the existing structures were built by WPA workers between 1936 and 1940 and were still existing when the park was added to the national register, including a caretaker's cottage, bathhouse, kitchen, one large and two small shelters. All were built to appear non-intrusive and used local logs and rocks in their construction. Several other buildings, not a part of the historic register list, were built in the 1950s and 1960s and maintained the natural aesthetic designs of the existing structures.Present dayFacilities include: Swimming hole, nature trails, playgrounds, tennis/basketball court and sports fields, fishing, and other facilities typical of large regional asset parks.Add Lewisville park to your Battle Ground travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our Battle Ground travel route planner.

You have to pay in order to enter park, but it also means that's it's very well maintained. It's ideal when going on longer runs such as a 10k as there is quite a variety of things to see. Lovely park... more »

Great place to hold events and barbeques for big groups. My kids and dogs enjoy tubijg down the river during the summer. There is a really big outdoor playground and tons of fields to have a variety of activities. There is even a tennis court in the park. My grandmother used to host a party every summer at the park. The scenery is always beautiful. A great place for dogs and family.
When it comes to parks this place is okay. I have seen better and I have seen much worse. The greenery is well worth the time. It is always nice to take a walk along the small river that flows here as well. The reason I don't rate 5 stars is because the place could use more trash cans. Otherwise it is a beautiful place to visit or hold an event.
I've been going here for family and church events since I was a kid. Now I mostly for runs. The trail is great. I recommend this place for most people!
this is one of those "gem" parks. very popular, but kept clean and neat. nice place for quiet, under 3 mile walks/hikes. fishing spots too on the river.
We were on a Boy Scouts of America camporee outing for a weekend at this park. The park is in pretty nice shape. It's a great location. It seems and feels remote but you are within 15 minutes of Vancouver. Maybe 20. But nice park with nice trails absolutely worth the visit.
