  • I can't speak for other people, but i thought this zoo was fantastic. The animals are not enclosed in cages, but roaming in natural habitats. There is a lot of walking and the food is over priced, but...  read more »
  • We wanted to visit this zoo this s week, but found out it closed for the winter a few days ago. Very dissappointed!
  • Helpful staff, very knowledgeable. They do a couple of 5k's through there that are a lot of fun. The zoo boi is a great time for the younger kids, and young acting adults.
  • Well kept zoo. Animals are beautiful and healthy looking. Pricing of course for beverages and food are a little steep for what u get but other than that it's 100% family fun. Can't wait to come back and see the lion exhibition
  • We really enjoyed this zoo overall, and will definitely come back in the future! The animals have nice enclosures with trees and grass, rather than the typical cement boxes I'm used to seeing. And the entire place seems well maintained, without the usual litter and debris. Our favorite part was, of course, feeding the giraffes. My only gripe is the price of food and drink, but being a privately funded zoo that uses those profits for the animals, I don't mind paying a little more for a few things.
  • We love Binder Park Zoo!! It is reasonably priced, especially if you buy a season pass and take advantage of that, and they have an impressive amount of different exhibits and animals for being a smaller zoo than say, John Ball Zoo. My son loves to ride on the train, and to take the ride over to Wild Africa to feed the giraffes. It is always a good time for everyone when we take a trip to the zoo, you can spend a whole day here walking around through all the exhibits and exploring.
  • I have always loved this zoo as a child but now that i have my own family and bringing my kids there i can say it is the most boring zoo i have ever been to! There is no exciting animals besides the classic giraffes, nothing unique. There is SSOOOOOO much walking around in this zoo with an animal maybe evey 10 minutes of walking. My 2 year old daughter even kept asking where the animals are!......update your zoo please!! The zoo has almost no changes since i was 5! Needless to say this zoo does NOT deserve a 4.3 rating AT ALL add more unique animals like elephants, rhinos, or hippos. SOMETHING! i will travel the extra time to go to better zoos. And on top of everything why is it so expensive for such a boring zoo?? They charge for literally EVERYTHING you do there. For the train, carasaul, feeding giraffes, goats.......a dollar for not even a full lettuce leaf is insane lol wow. Making all that money you should be able to afford the necessary updates for your zoo.
  • We attended the Tour De Zoo at the Binder Park Zoo. I had never been to this zoo before but was really impressed! It was after hours so a lot of the animals weren't out anymore, but the big ones were! We saw beautiful giraffes, zebras, and a giant turtle! The zoo terrain was a bit rocky on a bike, but so much fun! Can't wait to go again next year!
