  • all the reviews I read were accurate. yes it needs to be updated, correct that there should be more cats, absolutely it is great for being a small zoo in a small city and it is a little expensive. No ...  more »

  • Best zoo in the state. So much more than just animals in a cage, with beautifully crafted habitats and lots of educational information for every animal. There is a great tour to "Africa" with a nice little town and even a platform to feed giraffes lettuce. From an educational trail through swamp land to a little train for the kids to ride there are too many fun activities to list, so the best thing to do is experience it for yourself.
  • Nice zoo. Overpriced concessions. 1 dollar restrictions on quarters. Kinda silly when you need quarters to feed some of the animals. bring quarters. 3 dollar 20 oz pop. 3 dollars water. Credit card swipe to feed giraffe.
  • This is our favorite zoo! The animal enclosures are huge, and the park layout is beautiful. We love to take the train to "Africa" to feed the giraffes and walk the trails. Binder Park has done a great job of creating a place that doesn't feel like a zoo, and making it fun and educational for everybody.
  • Awful, awful, awful! Started off with standing in line for over an hour to get into the zoo! Half the exhibits were closed for construction! Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting! Staff was sparse! Really the only thing exciting was the giraffe feeding! Very crowded and in some places there is barely enough room to push a stroller because of the crowd! We will not be re-visiting and I do not recommend visiting! Save yourself the trouble and go to the Detroit zoo!
  • Nice little zoo. They are currently doing some updates that have singe paths closed. Hopefully when that finishes it will be better as they are adding new things like a lion exhibit in their Wild Africa portion of the park.
