  • This University Museum is located on plantation Bearden. Here you can see the tools farmers 19 century, furniture, utensils, recreated huts of slaves and overseer's House, you can get an idea of the 19 century plantation

  • The LSU Rural Life Museum offers you the real life experience of the 1800's racial equality. It definitely was an eye opening tour of what people endured also the history of how people lived it's a must see if ever in Baton Rouge.
