  • Nice old covered bridge - stole a kiss at the middle for good luck sake. Nearby attractions (country store, ice cream), all closed for winter but the bridge was open and passable. Nice.  more »
  • More fun to see this covered bridge when it's warmer, however was good to see and take some pics, only a few left ....  more »
  • You can find anywhere in the Newengland states the covered bridges. On the map of New Hampshire they will all be indicated. And it continues to be fun, especially with the signs with the rules of procedure by 100 years ago. If you drive over the bridge then you may not exceed the speed of a pedestrian. Otherwise you get a fine of $1. Funny. The bridges were covered so as to be protected against wind and weather. You have every time the idea that you have a barn in drives. This bridge at Bath is not so touristy, but that makes it so much fun At some bridges is still the rules of 100 years ago. If you drive over the bridge then you may not exceed the speed of a pedestrian. Otherwise you get a fine of $1. Funny.

  • The Bath-Haverhill Bridge is the oldest authenticated covered bridge in New Hampshire. It is the first and only bridge to ever be built at this site. The bridge is a lattice truss with arches (two spans). Due to a drought at the time of my visit I was able to photograph the bridge from the river bed
  • Love the old bridge, grew up right by it
