ColoVista Golf Club, Bastrop

(20+ reviews on the web)
Golf Course Outdoor Activity
ColoVista Golf Club winds through the surrounding residential community amid majestic vistas, providing golfers with challenging terrain, subtle turns and treacherous optical illusions. Rolling fairways, well-protected, undulating greens and forgiving landing areas lead to a variety of shot strategies.

The first nine holes are situated in the valley and gradually ascend to higher ground. The signature par-3, No. 15, features a 100-foot elevation change from tee to green, requiring golfers to be mindful of club selection. The view of the Colorado River from the raised tee box is jaw-dropping and starts a string of stunning finishing holes rivaling all others in Texas.

  • We flew into Austin for the weekend to watch MotoGP and wanted to get in a round of golf beforehand. Colovista ended up being perfect. We received a great deal on greens fees, a cart, and clubs. Plus, the Pro was extremely friendly and accommodating and we had a heck of a lot of fun. The layout was essentially two courses in one, and the back 9 had some outstanding views. We'll go back again next year.
  • First time my wife and I played this course and had a blast. Good senior rate if you are over 55. Only draw back was needed some hot dogs but understand that will change in 2017. We drove 1.5 hours to play and was well worth the drive. Looking forward to couples tournament next year😎
  • All I can say is get a pool pass!!! I'm psyched!!! Welcoming in summer!
  • First off, priced WAAAAY too high for condition of the course. Greens unkept (basically dead), fairways nearly overgrown, and their lawncare team nearly runs you over if you're taking shots around the green while they're mowing. I guess they got a new owner, but there's a real old stifler that rides around smoking cigarettes (and tossing buds all over the course) that stopped at every cart for some sort of an evaluation, in which he made rude comments about anything you were doing that he did not seem fit for the course. Will not be coming back, and I'll recommend this course last to any anybody who asks.
  • This course has definitely made a nice comeback!! Rain had greened up the fairways and greens nicely. Back 9 is a blast. Signature hole is the part 3 #15 featuring 190' drop.
