  • I LOVE this state park. It's not well known outside the area, but it's quiet and beautiful. The staff are really friendly and the water is crystal clear with a great dock for jumping in.
  • There's this one employee who keeps nit picking and go way out of his way to make our weekend miserable by telling us that we had to take our tent down which was on the grass and move it to the Mudd and rock filled pit after it had rained the entire three days of us being there,it wasn't just us either,we witnessed him herassing the group next to us the entire week end we were there, never again will we be going to this state park for our holidays
  • Very family, kid & pet friendly. The campsites are spaced very close together. We had a great time, but if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing campground, this isn't it.
  • Small Lake, but great for a family outing
  • Great location and wonderful facilities. About $10 per day more than MA or ME state parks, and there IS a charge for showers ($0.25 per 5 min). Lake is a gem with reasonably priced canoe, kayak and pedal boat rentals (some 2-person).
