We have camped here twice so far and both visits were enjoyable. Some sites are right on Lake Ontario. There is a lighthouse you can visit...was $1 each when we toured it. Bathrooms and showers were g...  more »

We stayed here as a base to go down to Niagara Falls about an hour's drive away. It was really windy and we were in a tent. Originally, we were supposed to stay on the waterfront, but it was so windy ...  more »

Stop by here every Ride for Roswell and am always astounded. This is one of the most beautiful views in all of WNY. Camp with yourself looking out over lake Ontario.

Top notch campground. The "P" sites are worth the few extra dollars, right on the water.

It is now 9:41pm May 12. The gang of about 20 people in site 38? Are obnoxious. Loud music screaming etc. I camp to have a peaceful experience. My stay here up till now has been very enjoyable. I now doubt if I will come back. Why is there not a ranger to monitor park safety. I called park phone and got no answer. I am in site 40 and really p...st off. About to call police. The couple next to me in 39 have been been going at it since about 9:00. Loud swearing and music. Called police at about 10:30. Someone came by at 11:15 and told them to quiet down. They did for about five minutes. It is now 12:26 and they are back at it. Every word spoken starts with an f. Lots of booze and drugs involved I am sure. Why does a State Park tolerate this behavior? I am ready to pack up now but too tired to drive. 1:50 Still going strong. Do not bring children to this park. ..Couple was removed from park next day. Thanks to park manager Renne. Nice park but I chose bad neighbors. I will give it another try.

This is a gorgeous park with beautiful scenery along Lake Ontario. Lots of mature trees, and open green areas to walk and explore. The Lighthouse and outbuildings were so nice and so interesting with the self guided tour signage. The RV camping spot we had, #022, was large on either side but there was a huge tree in the back of it and no matter what we did we couldn't level our coach. We even bought another set of leveling blocks but it didn't help. The shower, bathroom, and laundry facility was excellent. We would definitely stay here again but would be sure to get a level space.
