  • I cannot say enough about our amazing experience. In December 2015, Myself and 5 girlfriends planned a little wine getaway for January 2016. When the time came for us to take our trip, the area was being hit by a snow storm. The family welcomed us into their beautiful tasting room with love and warmth. We shared a tasting, a few bottles of wine and then they brought us pizza. On top of offering this amazing experience, the wines were amazing! We will certainly be back.
  • We had an absolute blast at this winery!! We were heading into Williamsburg for the weekend and stopped at a few wineries on the way and we were so glad we made time for this one. It's a family run business and the owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They even give you a free pizza with a bottle purchase on Friday nights! And we're not talking just a frozen pizza or anything, this was cooked right in front of us in a brick oven by the owner himself. The wine was WONDERFUL too, especially the ports, but the overall experience definitely sets them apart from the rest. We will be back! (And hopefully again on a Friday)
  • Excellent wine, wonderful atmosphere
  • I attended a wine tasting at Gauthier Vineyard Saturday April 25, 2015. I visited several wineries that day, and was told that the Gauthier Vineyard was the newest one since it has been in operation for just over a year. As it turned out, this was the best of them all. Not only the wines were good, but the clerk that was serving the wines, Judy, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and willing to please her customers. I recommend trying the reserve tasting, it only cost $3.00 more and it is well worth it. I liked the reserve wines Rochambeau's "Starboard" and the Lafayette's Reserve. On the sweeter wines, I liked the Les Trois Melanies 2014. It is a good desert wine.
