  • We return to this museum every time we travel to Louisville. My two favorite places are the Frazier Museum and this Museum. This was my third visit to this Museum and I will return in the fall.  more »

  • Very large, the village is nice and clean and well maintained, easy to get to regardless of health issues. The only thing I saw and was concerned about was there is cameras in every room/cabin. What is going on in there that those are needed for? Creepy. But overall well worth the money and the cost covers all 3 museums and you get 2 consecutive days to enjoy them just in case you need it.
  • The museum is one of the best I've seen relating to the War of Northern Aggression. I try to stop by the gift shop whenever I'm in town.
  • Museum is packed with artifacts, including items of John Brown's along with the civil war kit of local common soldiers. The village of historic cabins and workshops is great too. Collected from around the area and moved to the museum.
  • Very educational. Great display
  • Really well done and lots of treasures
