  • This was the first distillery we visited, even though it's not technically on the Bourbon Trail. The tour was free, the staff super friendly and best of all, the bourbon was great. Don't miss this dis...  read more »
  • Tour was actually informative and not just an infomercial for Barton. Enjoyable tasting experience and the price was right (free). Highly recommended. If you choose the right tour, you can see and taste the white dog and the see the fermentation tanks. By the way, the 1792 bourbon is wonderful. Another reviewer mentioned the smell around the distillery - it is a crucial part of the experience.
  • Loved the tour guide, Bourbon and learning the history of the plant. I would like to purchase a bottle of the first run white dog. It was part of the tour. low alcohol and sweet taste. We will visit again next year during our Bourbon run...
  • Good tour and bourbon. One of my favorite bourbons, very old barton, is made here. The price of the tour(free) makes visiting an awesome experience. All the distilleries on the bourbon trail charge for the tour.
  • Great history! Great bourbon, and literally across the street from my dad's.
  • Very knowledgeable guide, neat old-timey facilities hidden away in small town Kentucky, and nice whiskey to taste at the end. Best of all, everything is FREE! Highly recommended experience.
