Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon

#1 of 46 in Golf in Oregon
Bandon Dunes is true to the spirit of Scotland’s ancient links.

Here, players immerse themselves in the traditions of a timeless game and the grandeur of Oregon’s rugged coast. Sweeping, untamed shores stretch for miles. Primeval grassy dunes roll to the sea.

Five distinctly different courses have been conceived in harmony with the natural environment. They combine with all the essential elements to reveal a new golf experience every time you play. The soul of the game resides here. Players walk. And at the end of the day, gracious hospitality comforts each guest like a warm, friendly embrace.

This is Bandon Dunes. This is golf as it was meant to be.

  • I’m sure there are countless reviews about how good Bandon is. One thing that I was surprised about was how friendly and helpful the staff is. I’ve been lucky to play some of the better courses but I ...  more »

  • Love Bandon Dunes Resort. Great courses beautiful ocean views. Fun and challenging, great staff, nice accommodations and good food. It may not have Pebble's history but the courses at Bandon are much better than Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and Spanish Bay. A definite bucket list buddies trip! 1. Pacific Dunes 2. Bandon Dunes 3. Old MacDonald 4. Bandon Trails Make sure to find time for the Bandon Preserve (par 3 course) and the Punchbowl at Pacific Dunes (huge putting course). Don't forget to take advantage of the huge practice facility. Find time one night for some of Grandma's Meatloaf at McKees Pub, you won't regret it (but you'd better be hungry!). I've been coming her for over a decade and I'm looking forward to the next one!
  • The restaurant here deserves a 10! Amazing wait staff - kind, knowledgeable, and had great customer service. Server Janine Pateuzio arranged a beautiful vegan, gluten free meal with chef Rory Butts. The meal was outstanding!! This pictures says it all!!
  • I am so impressed with this place. It was my first time here, on a surprise birthday weekend for my husband. Playing Bandon dunes was on his bucket list, so that is now checked off. Although I didn’t golf, I was able to enjoy the facilities and the beautiful hiking trails. The rooms are simple and clean and catered for golfers. They provided a lot of thoughtful amenities that you would not expect in a regular room. For example, all the rooms had shoe dryer’s. Something a golfer whos played with wet shoes can really appreciate. Hats off to the administration to have hired such a consistently friendly and courteous staff, and for not being greedy and “nickel and diming” the resort guests for things like parking, bottled water in the rooms, and for the use of resort amenities that other resorts nowadays do. I truly felt like a “guest” rather than a “customer” throughout my entire stay. I hope you never change Bandon dunes resort. Keep it classy!
  • I did not come here to go. They have several hiking walking trails here. My friend and I with my two chihuahuas hike down to the Labyrinth. Then down around some of the rentals that you can rent overnight. And back up the hill. They did allow us to stop in one of the holes and get some water. Which is very nice. We will come and Hike here again.
  • We just finished our 4th New Year trip to Bandon. Same 4 guys, always the first week of the New Year. Played 9 On Bandon Dunes Wednesday, Old Mac then Pacific Thursday, Trails Friday and Bandon Dunes Saturday. As always the course and views were some of the greatest I have ever played and seen. This year I was lucky enough to get the NW Lodge room overlooking Bandon #1. Accommodation was outstanding. Food was outstanding though we did take a trip to Tony's Crab Shack the first night for some great seafood. Already booked next year. My only annoyance - McKee's. Shepherds Pie is made with lamb or mutton, not beef. What you have there is Cottage Pie, it uses beef.
