  • The people who work there were very helpful and told me of other attractions to go to as well. This nice hike to the top was way worth the view. I would do this again in a heartbeat. It is quite narro...  more »
  • Interesting, with the Greek clothing and the lions close; and a great area to see walk and eatwithin. Walters good visit as well.
  • I went here by myself first and enjoyed the journey up the curvy, stone steps to the top. The views are refreshingly different from looking at the city on from the ground. I took my partner up here as...  more »

  • Relaxing, pretty space right in the center of the city. Fair amount of seating and shade. Great place to sit, read, and enjoy the green.
  • It's an okay monument to see but of if you miss it that's fine as well. My wife an I opted to pay the $6.50 each fee to walk the 257 steps up the spiral stair case to enjoy the panoramic view. It's an okay site to see but nothing breathtaking. Going up the stairs is at last a calorie burn. Beware though, if you are out of shape the climb could be pretty taxing. Overall something to see but not a must do your of activity.
  • The original Washington Monument. Second to none!
  • Nice place, nice neighborhood. Can be dangerous during nighttime though.
  • The oldest known statue or memorial of the father of the nation and the first president of it: George Washington, its made in 1829.
