  • Awesome! A most see in Baltimore as the Black History of Slavery Museum in the Port Richman area of Philadelphia
  • This is a phenomenal, realistic, and motivating exhibit of African Americans and how far they have journeyed and accomplished. This is a must see for anyone interested in learning and experiencing African American culture. Going to this museum is worth the time and the investment. Go and give to keep this museum open and running.
  • There are few places that cover the expansive history of Black diaspora, let alone in wax! This place is perfect for school trips, but some areas may not be appropriate for those under 15 years of age.
  • What a great venue to share our incredible and rich history with my children. I wish all of our people could learn about our past so we can more clearly understand our present and be able to make better decisions that will more positively affect our future!!! Painful but very necessary!
  • The idea of the contribution is great, but the displays are simply subpar. They are falling apart and are held together by poor Gorilla Glue jobs and bubble wrap and packing tape in place of a sew job. The staff is fantastic and very knowledgable and kind.
