  • I like the actual venue inside. I've enjoyed every event that I've been to at Royal Farms Arena. However, I think that there could be some improvement with organization. Not sure if this is something Royal Farms Arena can control, but it took a LONG time to find parking. Almost every parking garage was full or super expensive. I think this was also because of the baseball game that was happening at the same time. I just wish there was some sort of solution to parking in that area. Also, there was no organization in the venue. There was no one there in the actual concert area checking tickets or making sure people were where they were supposed to be. People were taking other people's seats, moving from one area to another, etc. At Verizon Center they have people in each section to guide people to the correct seat. It's a good venue but the organization lacks.
  • The parking garage was a lil tricky. Still unsure if the garage leads you directly into the venue because we couldn't find an attendant to ask of give us directions. If not they absolutely should reconsider that one. Not the nicest of neighborhoods especially in the evening and late night hours and security around the venue is scarce, but we enjoyed the show and next time I'd uber, bus or lightrail it there.
  • I'm glad we have an arena here, but the biggest issue is that they fail to attract many big acts. It's mostly for Disney on Ice and Monster Trucks, as far as I can tell. The arena itself feels a bit dated, but it is clean and there's plenty of adjacent parking. There's plenty of food and drink vendors inside, too, so there's no need to eat before your event.
  • My boyfriend and I were in town for the Bad Boy Reunion concert on Sept.3 and I must say this place was disappointing. First we stood outside for nearly 2 hours even after the doors opened. There was absolutely no organization outside so people were cutting in front of those who were already in line. Once inside the arena the staff didn't provide any assistance with getting to seats or individual sections. The seats were small and tight which is probably why I stood up majority of the show. This place is close to being a dump that needs to be renovated and majority of the staff I encountered needs to be replaced. First and last time I go to this place. Believe the one and two star ratings because they are true.
  • This place is old... and it kind of shows it. Not much to look at from the outside... and the interior is well kept, but lacking much technology. I saw the band Led Zeppelin here in 1974! So the sound quality for music is not so great - lacking the acoustics of newer venues. No jumbo-tron screens unless the artist provides their own.
