M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore

4.5
M&T Bank Stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium located in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the home of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. The stadium is immediately adjacent to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the home of the Baltimore Orioles. Often referred to as "Ravens Stadium", M&T Bank Stadium officially opened in 1998, and is currently one of the most praised stadiums in the NFL for fan amenities, ease of access, concessions and other facilities. The stadium was originally known as Ravens Stadium at Camden Yards, until PSINet acquired the naming rights in 1999, naming it PSINet Stadium. It then reverted to Ravens Stadium in 2002 when PSINet filed for bankruptcy. The naming rights deal for M&T Bank Stadium was renewed for $60M over 10 years in 2014 extending the name through 2027.HistoryGround was broken for the new stadium in mid-1996, shortly after the arrival of the Ravens. The team played its first two years at Memorial Stadium. Although there was some sentiment from Baltimore residents in having the Ravens stay there permanently, it was deemed too old to host an NFL team. (The Orioles moved away from Memorial Stadium after the 1991 season.)The stadium site was previously the site of the Wm. Knabe & Co. piano factory, which closed during The Great Depression. A sidewalk keyboard mosaic on the southwest corner of the stadium honors the company's legacy.

  • First visit to see a live American Football Game. Good stadium with very good sight lines. Staff miss-directed us twice to our seats so maybe they need better training on that aspect. Plenty of places...  more »

  • We always enjoy attending events at this stadium! It was especially nice with temperatures down in the single digits at the Raven's game to have a heated Women's bathroom. Thank you!  more »

  • I went to the game as a fan for the opposing team. It was a trip in which I took my 10 year old. It was an awesome experience. The people were friendly. Massive amounts of raven employees in the walkways and parking lots assisting with where to go and what to do. the food was less expensive then what I’m used to so that was a good surprise. The stadium food was actually pretty good. Great variety. There is no such thing as a bad seat. I was up high and the view was great. I really enjoyed the game and the atmosphere. Despite getting beat 40-0 The Raven fans were very friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone. .
  • The service in the suite level was great. Everyone greeted us with a smile even though it was very cold outside! To my surprise the crab cakes in our suite was truly awesome. I love true Maryland crab cakes and these where true crab cakes. Great job!
  • I was really pleased with the event I attended. The locker room was smaller than l expected but was still happy to walk around looking at players jerseys & some equipment they had staged in the lockers. The cheer leaders along with Poe was a pleasant surprise. The best part always is being able to walk out into the sidelines & view the field.
  • Went to a game in December, it was cold but the experience was amazing! they LOVE to get the fans into the game by putting Twitter tweets from #RavensFlock on the board and seeing the games with my family was amazing, Definitely a great place in Baltimore to see before you leave.
  • The stadium is quite nice and the addition of the new video screens has improved the experience. Viewing angles are quite good. I have sat in at least 6 different sections for football games with no complaints. There is mass transit (light rail) available that drops you off right at the stadium. Although leaving by light rail after the game can be a challenge due to crowds. There is a lot of parking and tailgating options available although much of the parking is around $40 for a space. There are a lot of dining options pre and post game near the stadium. But depending upon where you park it may be quite a walk so plan ahead. Food and drinks in the stadium are typically overpriced as all professional sport venues are. There aren't enough craft beers available and no draft craft beers so that is a downer. You can bring some of you own food in which is nice. I personally would recommend tailgating or dining at a local restaurant or pub rather than eating in the stadium. Overall I think the venue is pretty good and the location is also good. Traffic is bad after the game so some patience will be needed.
