M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore

4.5
M&T Bank Stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium located in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the home of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. The stadium is immediately adjacent to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the home of the Baltimore Orioles. Often referred to as "Ravens Stadium", M&T Bank Stadium officially opened in 1998, and is currently one of the most praised stadiums in the NFL for fan amenities, ease of access, concessions and other facilities. The stadium was originally known as Ravens Stadium at Camden Yards, until PSINet acquired the naming rights in 1999, naming it PSINet Stadium. It then reverted to Ravens Stadium in 2002 when PSINet filed for bankruptcy.Served by the Hamburg Street station of the Baltimore Light Rail, the stadium originally featured a natural grass surface. However, an artificial surface, Sportexe Momentum Turf, was installed for the 2003 season, which in turn was replaced by a new-generation Sportexe Momentum 51 in 2010. On December 4, 2015, the Ravens announced that in 2016 the team will go back to natural grass playing surface at M&T Bank Stadium, in which it had not been used since 2002. Lloyd Civil & Sports Engineering provided engineering design and construction oversight in both the 2003 and 2016 field conversions. The listed capacity for M&T Bank Stadium is 71,008.

  • We always enjoy attending events at this stadium! It was especially nice with temperatures down in the single digits at the Raven's game to have a heated Women's bathroom. Thank you!  more »

  • The service in the suite level was great. Everyone greeted us with a smile even though it was very cold outside! To my surprise the crab cakes in our suite was truly awesome. I love true Maryland crab cakes and these where true crab cakes. Great job!
  • The stadium is quite nice and the addition of the new video screens has improved the experience. Viewing angles are quite good. I have sat in at least 6 different sections for football games with no complaints. There is mass transit (light rail) available that drops you off right at the stadium. Although leaving by light rail after the game can be a challenge due to crowds. There is a lot of parking and tailgating options available although much of the parking is around $40 for a space. There are a lot of dining options pre and post game near the stadium. But depending upon where you park it may be quite a walk so plan ahead. Food and drinks in the stadium are typically overpriced as all professional sport venues are. There aren't enough craft beers available and no draft craft beers so that is a downer. You can bring some of you own food in which is nice. I personally would recommend tailgating or dining at a local restaurant or pub rather than eating in the stadium. Overall I think the venue is pretty good and the location is also good. Traffic is bad after the game so some patience will be needed.
  • It's a nice stadium, but some parts are not so well thought out. I'll stick to the one thing that affected me in the last game, the cold. Club level was like being outside. They should have put in double doors to combat the cold wind that rushes in every time a fan goes in or out. We never got warm enough to take our coats off. The most enjoyable part of the experience was just laughing about the cold with friend and other fans. In my opinion, and I'm a season ticket holder, Club level just does not have the same value that it once had.
  • I've visited this stadium several times for Ravens games, concerts, and other games. You can always expect a lively tailgate session on the way in the door. Security is always smooth, moves traffic right in. The view is pretty decent from every seat in the house, unless your in the back of the nosebleed section. In that case, you're in luck for a great aerial picture. Concession stands have a great selection of food and they each offer different things.
  • If you like to watch a football game surrounded by rabid white people, this place is for you. The concessions are overpriced and as such prevent lower income people from enjoying the products sold there. The staff are very attentive and friendly.
