M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore

4.4
M&T Bank Stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium located in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the home of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. The stadium is immediately adjacent to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the home of the Baltimore Orioles. Often referred to as "Ravens Stadium", M&T Bank Stadium officially opened in 1998, and is currently one of the most praised stadiums in the NFL for fan amenities, ease of access, concessions and other facilities. The stadium was originally known as Ravens Stadium at Camden Yards, until PSINet acquired the naming rights in 1999, naming it PSINet Stadium. It then reverted to Ravens Stadium in 2002 when PSINet filed for bankruptcy.Served by the Hamburg Street station of the Baltimore Light Rail, the stadium originally featured a natural grass surface. However, an artificial surface, Sportexe Momentum Turf, was installed for the 2003 season, which in turn was replaced by a new-generation Sportexe Momentum 51 in 2010. On December 4, 2015, the Ravens announced that in 2016 the team will go back to natural grass playing surface at M&T Bank Stadium, in which it had not been used since 2002. Lloyd Civil & Sports Engineering provided engineering design and construction oversight in both the 2003 and 2016 field conversions. The listed capacity for M&T Bank Stadium is 71,008.

  • i was in the club seats and part of the club level ..this was a really nice club with plenty of buffet stands and many diff varieties of food ..there were several bars around the stadium on this level...  more »
  • Once you are inside, everything gets much better. Meaning inside, in your seat. The stadium inside corridors are like a parking deck.  more »
  • Impressed that the security lines moved as efficiently as they did and once inside the concessions were plentiful. Lots of police presence too. Minor complaints include not selling beer w food concess...  more »

  • Had a great time. Seats are great. Food is great. The Ravens fan base is so amazing. Only problem that I had with my visit was that the Ravens lost.
  • (Concert) went to see Metallica here on May 10th and the stadium was very nice! Great atmosphere and from the very top of the 300 sections is a good view of Baltimore city! Awesome staff made going in very fast.
  • 1st time at this venue for a concert. Security was maintained. Very large crowd for the Metallica show but saw no big problems. Great venue.
  • The stadium is fairly new compared to stadiums so it's in good repair. It was well designed so there are plenty of bathrooms and vendors to handle the crowds. If you haven't purchased tickets yet, it's important to know that the 200s is the club level. You must have a ticket to use any of the facilities on this level. There are more bathrooms and vendors per person which adds to your experience. The club level is just below the sky boxes and is on the same level as the sky boxes in the end zone. If you don't have season passes Tickets can be easily acquired on Stub Hub.
  • Saw my first ever NFL game live. A great experience in a nice stadium.

Where to stay in Baltimore

For quick and easy access to practically all of Baltimore's major attractionswhile on holiday, follow the example of most tourists and stay near the Inner Harbor neighborhood. Few cities boast such a well-defined tourist district, it shouldn't come as a surprise that all the major chain hotels in the city are located right in this busy neighborhood. If you prefer to stay in a quieter area offering a bit more local character, consider one of the city's outlying districts, offering affordable accommodations and plenty of dining and shopping options.
