  • OK for a neighborhood market, but not worth the trouble to visit. There are a few eateries, butcher shops and vegetable shops. The most popular eatery is Nicks - a noisy sports bar atmosphere and mediocre food. We had the soft-shell crab platter. Very disappointing - the "platter" consisted of a single average size soft-shell crab, heavily breaded. The rest was fries and coleslaw.
  • Neighborhood feel to local food shopping. I'm sad they are closing for renovations soon. Hope the businesses survive....
  • If you go for nothing else go for Nunnally Brothers Butcher Shop. They have such great deals and if there's something on the list you don't really use you can substitute something else from that list.... we ALWAYS leave thete with at least 3 meat bundles in tow for under $200 to feed a family of 8 for over a month and a half. Then there's the produce market like 4 booths up from them that has great bundles also. Same side as them.... try them both. Save a bunch!!!!
  • Nicks fish house is great fun. Big beers and oysters.
  • Nick's crabcakes were awesome! Had a fresh craft beer with it and enjoyed the atmosphere of this iconic market. Its fun to walk through early before all the businesses close around 6 but Nick's was open until 10 on that day which was a Friday.
