Bal Harbour Shops, Bal Harbour

#30 of 359 in Shopping in Florida
Visit the luxury shops at Bal Harbour Shops, one of the few remaining family-owned malls in the United States. This open-air mall opened in 1965 on the former site of U.S. Army barracks and a World War II prisoner of war camp. Today, as you walk through the beautiful center, you can stop at a restaurant, and, of course, shop the boutiques of some of the world's most famous designers, including Chanel, Prada, and Valentino. • A small elegant Mall with absolute luxury shops. Very nice evening something to walk even if you want to buy anything. Everything very clean, prosperous audience. The Italian restaurant on the ground floor is very much recommended!

  • I love the Bal Harbour shops. The people watching alone is a treat. And add my favorite stores - Chanel, Dior and Gucci and you have a shoppers dream!  more »
  • Clean, quiet and so many designer shops! Neiman Marcus is very small. Wolford moved to a better location, upscale jewelers and many shoe stores.  more »
  • Very, very nice upscale outside shopping. 3 stories of stores and restaurants. Most of the shops (especially on the main level) are luxury and very expensive but they sell some very nice and unique items. The restaurants here as well are very good but also busy and a tad expensive. They are pet friendly, this is what brought us here. Our small dogs were welcome to walk around, go into shops, and even eat in one of the restaurants with us. Very fun place to kill some time or stroll around and window shop but bring plenty of $$$ if you plan to buy anything. Overall a very nice place to visit and highly recommended.
  • One of the most sophisticated malls in Miami. The best stores are there. You can have lunch on Saturdays & watch real models showing the latest trend in fashion.
  • Pretty shopping center. Only has pricey high end designer stores. The only downside is parking is $10 an hour which is outrageous. Make sure you buy something to get the discounted parking rate of $1.50 per hour. There is no minimum purchase for parking validation.
  • Super expensive mall. It cost 10 bucks entry fee basically. Unless you plan on buy $3000 shoes. Then parking is free :p but nice high end stores. Good for tourists who want to see how rich people blow there money stupid.
  • Beautiful shopping center. Lot of store have on sale on Holiday season. Half day is not good enough for shopping. Good service
