  • Incredible collection of shark teeth and fossils from the Bakersfield area (plus other artifacts from all over the world). Helps you identify which fossils you have if you dig in the Bakersfield area. Turns out I have a tooth from a hippo-like animal. The curator, John, greeted us and was super friendly and helpful. The customer service here is unbelievable, top notch.
  • They r small but have a lot this and that to study and look at plus employees r helpful
  • Fun place... A lot to do..
  • Many things to look at, but the top floor is always 10 degrees warmer.
  • I had the best experience!!! I would recommend everyone to go and to take their children as well because they have a new play area. Most museums say "DONT TOUCH ANYTHING" but this museum encourages hands on learning. The learning is endless and they can also give you a tour so you can gain more knowledge and experience about their different exhibits. I was skeptical at first but glad I kept an open mind.
