  • We stayed in Tehachapi which is a perfect place to getaway, but wanted to do something fun one day with the kids when we went into Bakersfield. This place was Fantastic! I have a 7 & 4 yr old and they loved it and danced their Lil hearts out! The music is great, the place is very cool and the kids enjoyed looking at everything, the staff was super nice. And I won't lie the food was top notch! We had the chicken fried steak & it was amazing.... probably the best I've ever had! The portions are huge, you can totally share!
  • I'm not one to get excited about country music, but the live house band is very engaging. The food is what you might expect from this kind of venue, tasting good, decent portions, and of course pricy. This place more than any other is vital that you call in advance to make reservations. There have been many times where I've shown up on a whim only to discover that there's some special musical guest, and the place is booked for the evening. On those such evenings you can expect a charge just to get seated, which to be honest it's typically a fair price.
  • Essential for people from out of town who really want to "experience bakersfield". It's a little on the pricey side and lines are massive for Sunday brinch but we'll worth it for a nice meal out. The Buck Owens museum thing is fairly interesting, all sorts of memorabilia ranging from work done with The Beatles to letters from the president and his car is an absolute must seem.
  • Fatt Katt and the Bakerbilly Sound playing. Good old authentic County music!
  • Well, my family and I love the Crystal Palace. The experience, food, concerts, service & availability is always great, EXCEPT this last time we attended the Aaron Lewis Concert in 2016. As we ordered our drinks, the waitress said she had NO clean mugs, then didn't have the beer we liked, either option, then they didn't have crutons for our salad and service took forever along with both servers apologizing all night. Our food came out late which was somewhat COLD and by that time they finally brought out our drinks, that were in a plastic cup. My entire parry were in AHHHH with this whole situation being that this is the Crystal Palace for Christ Sake. So knowing that they had a big event and it was the beginning of the week + month, they should have been prepared for a SOLD out crowd for both nights. We are very unpleasant with the service that night and hopefully we do not have that experience again in the near future. No Discount was applied to our Bill either with any exception. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE FOR THE CRYSTAL PALACE, VERY DISAPPOINTED AS WE GO ALL THE TIME TOO
