  • Well worth the $8 to get in. Perfect place to take your kids to learn some history. Lots of hands on and fun interactive displays. Walking trails for all levels and a chance to see the actual Oregon Trail ruts left by the original migration.
  • Big place out in the middle of nowhere. Larger and more complete than I expected. Worth the short trip off the freeway. It took the Pioneers 5 months to get there, your 15 minute drive off the freeway will feel like nothing.
  • We really had a lot of fun! The self paced museum allows you to take time to read everything, and really look at all of the artifacts. The movies help to bring history to life! Really cool experience!
  • The museum was well thought and you can tell there was quite a bit of dedication involved in the exhibits. I wish they would do away with the small door latches covering information.
  • Love this museum! We always bring our baseball team on the way to Boise for tournaments. Great place to stop and picnic under the shade shelters in the parking lot. Don't forget to stop at the bottom of the hill to walk in the ruts of the Oregon Trail!
