  • We have followed the Oregon trail from one end to the other and this facility exceeded our expectations.
  • I am currently fixated on Ancestry and wanted to stop to get more information as I have family who made the Oregon Trail trek. Very well done with lots of information. I think families would enjoy thi...  read more »
  • This is a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth the time to visit. Trails, interpretive areas, lots to see and do, and wonder if you could have made that trip.
  • Big place out in the middle of nowhere. Larger and more complete than I expected. Worth the short trip off the freeway. It took the Pioneers 5 months to get there, your 15 minute drive will feel like nothing.
  • Great for kids. The best part is getting to see the actual trails in the ruts in the ground of where they went. You can take some cute wagon pictures outside as well. Very educational sections inside. It's worth a detour if you find yourself in the area. They take the 4th grader "Every Kid in a Park" form as well so you can get in free if you have preprinted the form with your 4th grader.
  • We really had a lot of fun! The self paced museum allows you to take time to read everything, and really look at all of the artifacts. The movies help to bring history to life! Really cool experience!
  • Love this museum! We always bring our baseball team on the way to Boise for tournaments. Great place to stop and picnic under the shade shelters in the parking lot. Don't forget to stop at the bottom of the hill to walk in the ruts of the Oregon Trail!
  • Very well done museum that accurately tells the struggles of the people who came across the Oregon trail.
