Churchmouse Yarns & Teas reviews
A small, interesting place with helpful, knowledgeable staff and surprises here and there. Even if you do not sew or do needlework you might find this shop good for gifts. more »
My mom who is a knitter has been wanting to visit this store for ages. Finally took her for a visit and was worth the trip. So many yarns to select from. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. more »
Churchmouse has been my local yarn store since long before it became famous. Located on in a small breeze on Bainbridge Island, this little shop carries a wide variety of luxury fibers, designs... more »
This store is amazing both in its resources and atmosphere. The wares are top quality and launched me into two immediate projects. The first (cute little woolen slippers) knit up in a matterof hours and are on my feet as I type with many requests coming in from those who see them. My next will be a gorgeous merino/silk cardigan. I loved the experience there. Thank you.
This place is so beautiful and I love looking at all their samples and the yarn. It is a luxury goods shop and the quality is worth the cost. They have great, shop limited items too. Love them.
One of the best shops for selection and helpfulness. The yarns are high quality, so a little more expensive, but you pay for what you get. They have fantastic patterns. Don’t miss the teas in the back. They smell phenomenal. Everyone was very polite and helpful. A place to definitely go online and in person.
Always a great place to stop. Great selection of yarn, tea, notions, and needlepoint. Great customer service
I took off one star because it's rather an expensive, almost elitest place. There are none of your inexpensive yarns here! But otherwise, it's quite a perfect little yarn and tea shop, well lit for choosing colors, with knowledgeable staff to help you find a pattern from many, many choices. There's even a comfy seat for your spouse, if they aren't crazy about yarn, and an ice cream parlor just across the patio for the kids.
