  • The staff inside are really friendly and knowledgeable. There's also a good (is that the right word?) section of the interment of the Japanese-Americans during World War Two.
  • They pack quite a lot of displays onto their small space. Nicely done. A/V displays are usually the first to break, but theirs were all functional. Was hoping for a bigger, more robust Ansel Adams exhibit of the Japanese Internment, as indicated on their website, but it was very small.
  • Has 2 National Park cancellations.
  • Fabulous small museum with a wealth of displays. It packs a lot of information onto a small space. One exhibit is a series of Ansel Adams photos of the Manzanar concentration camp where over 10,000 Japanese-Americans were imprisoned during WW2.
  • Our local favorite museum, we like the old mill town, boom and bust, lumber mills, shipbuilding, shipwrecks, strawberries, creosote even!
