  • Came here as my mom and MIL love wildflowers! They were really wanting to see lady slippers and it didn't disappoint with the yellow ones. Peaceful nice trails.  more »
  • Learn about ridges and swales and how they were formed. We had George for a guide, he was a wealth of knowledge. He pointed out the different flowers and the names. He told us about the different tree...  more »
  • A new nature center and boardwalk were just installed and boy does this enhance the already nice experience of The Ridges. I would highly recommend going when there is a guided tour to get the flavor ...  more »

  • Lovely and serene hikes through the forest await you here. Rare and wonderful plants surround the hiking paths while birds perch along the water. Take the time to learn about the lighthouses--fascinating. This is great place to take a cool hike on a hot day!
  • Beautiful visitor center! The Ridges are such a wonderful natural place to visit.
  • Beautiful setting and unique landscape. Highly recommended.
  • Nice trails for hiking. A $5 fee per person is requested for hiking.
  • The new visitor center and elevated walkways are great! Hiking in the spring and early summer, you will see all kinds of beautiful ,and often rare, local flora!
