  • Stopped in on Monday October 17. I LOVE jellies, jams, and especially pies. I was soooo happy to see the wide selection and I was ready to spend money! I began to sample the different jams and jelly's...  more »
  • When we are in Door County, before we head for home, we go to Koepsel's to stock up on Sauerkraut; This is the best, because they make it right there. It is as close to Grandma's Sauerkraut that I hav...  more »

  • I have been here plenty of times and I've always loved the food they have available. Every time I'm in Door county, I always make sure to stop here. You can sample a lot of their hundreds of jellies, jams, mustards, salsas, and butters that they make all at their business. The pies and baked good are really good, possibly some of the best food found at a farm stand in Door county. Take home a pie in jar to make later and you won't regret it. Over the years, their craft beer selection and wine selections have grown tremendously; making this a great place to pick up a variety six pack of beer or that bottle of wine that you just tried at the winery.
  • I wanted frozen cherries and looked for places on my route. I called ahead and found they had them. The people that helped me in the store were very helpful and knowledgeable. It had a pleasant atmosphere and lots of products. The string cheese I bought was a bit salty for my taste but it seemed it was just the couple on the bottom of the package. I'm so glad I've got cherries to make pie and jam. It was a quick and easy stop right on the highway.
  • Wonderfully surprised with all the different kinds of jams , jelly's and spreads. The Family there was so friendly and helpful in helping us find everything we were looking for. My girlfriend just loves to try out different kind of beers. she was happly overwhelmed by the over 400 kinds of brew they have in stock . after loading up a shopping cart full of a doz. different kinds of brew. I know we were in for a great vacation.
  • WOW, what a place. So rich with family history and homemade recipes. Seems like they have every kind of pickle know to man. I never seen so many. My wife was hungry so we got a nice piece of smoked Whitefish along with some great Asiago cheese dip and crackers . and my son picked out some root beer for us to drink. We headed by to these great big pumpkins that were on display in front of the store and sat and enjoyed every morsel of that delicious lunch. What a fun time we all had. The Ballus family
  • Been coming to Koepsel's for almost 30 years, and I'm starting to get a bit concerned. Still a great selection of jams, jellies, and craft beer, but I wonder how much the owners really enjoy being in the retail business. There were several signs posted up around the place, scolding people not to leave the refrigerator door open while choosing your beverage, not to open up a new jar of jelly for sampling, shoplifting warnings, etc. Not a warm and friendly customer experience. People working there don't seem to have their hearts in their work.
