  • My wife and I had the opportunity to attend the Indycar race at the Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday night April 29. There were activities all weekend with the main race starting at 6:30 pm. ...  more »
  • Oval with sight lines great. Enjoyed 2017 indy practice and time trails. That said a 1 3/4 hour break with nothing going on on track is not acceptable . Friday practice and trials need to keep fan foc...  more »
  • I am confused. We have been paying for our tickets/RV parking at times 8 months out. Just got confirmation that our RV spots will be larger (price is surely increasing) and no more non-reserved. This ...  more »
  • It's my local track, so I can't be too harsh, but I feel some of the changes they have made/are making leave a little uncertainty on how I'll enjoy the experience going forward. I've always enjoyed the freedom to carve out my own spot, by myself or with a group of friends in the unreserved camping lots. I was informed at this years spring race that unreserved camping would be eliminated going forward and everyone would have to reserve their 25' x 50' spot ahead of time. I feel like a small piece of what made this track so enjoyable and unique is now lost.
  • Surprisingly not crowded. Good views from the bleachers. Good fireworks show. Too bad the concession stands were running out of AZ necessities such as water and Gatorade earlier than they should have, even with the light crowds. Parking was free but takes awhile to get out, so bring extra parking lot snack and drinks. Still a good place to watch the races!
  • NASCAR racing here is awesome. Lots of space to park. You can really feel the race cars here as they fly by. Tons of RV areas as well.
  • Love this raceway. You can bring your own food in but also have option of buying food if needed. Everyone is friendly. Camping is awesome. Have been coming here for years and have made some great friendships.
  • PIR is a very nice facility. It's surrounded by the hills and has a great look to it. Awesome place to watch a race. Only word of warning is be prepared to do a lot of walking and climbing.
