Near Lady Bird Lake and Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Metropolitan Park is a hub of outdoor recreation. Cycling and hiking trails take visitors around Lady Bird Lake and through the 142 hectares (350 acres) of surrounding woodland and lawns. The large urban park hosts sporting events, such as soccer, volleyball, and polo, as well as concerts, such as an annual music festival. Consider a visit to the Zilker HIllside Theater or the Nature Center for indoor activities. To rest your feet after a day of exercise, take a ride on the Zilker Zephyr, a miniature train that tours the attraction. Anytime you’re coming to Zilker Park on your own or with family or friends, it doesn’t matter, you’re going to have an enjoyable time. I’ve come here too many times to count on my four hands and it just gets better every time. I really really recommend this place. Even just doing something like walking around in Zilker is more enjoyable than anywhere else in my honest opinion. I love this place.

Dog friendly and lots of space to move even on a busy day. Great skyline view and ample parking. Bring friends or meet new ones. This is a popular spot to hang and chill. Mornings are slow and great for dogs/kids who like to run. Weekends can get busy, hang by the rock or volleyball courts if you enjoy a crowd. Otherwise tuck away somewhere and smoke some bud. All is chill at this vibrant park. Make sure to pack a blanket and sunscreen because you will probably want to hang around for a bit

Driving through the trail of lights reminds me of my childhood! It's more fun to walk it because you get to stay as long as you want at each display but driving through it you get the benefit of bringing your own hot cocoa or whatever you would like and being warm if it's cold out or cool if it's warm out. Plan extra time for the Trail of Lights because when you get there you sit in line for a while. But once you're line goes it moves pretty quickly through the exhibit. The tree is sparsely visited and there are vendors there. Definitely spin under the tree! And a quick public service announcement: If you're going to spend your child, make sure there's clearance first!

Amezing view but i m alone...🥰🥰

Great for your friends and family, parking is usually under $10. Earlier you arrive, better chances at closer parking for the lake. Somewhat shaded with trails here and there also! Great for the whole family or if you're just trying to get in some time with the sun by yourself!
