  • A wonderful event to experience with others. LOVE the lights and theme each year. Great memory for 2016.

  • This is a great park area. If it is the weekend, be prepared for dense traffic and difficult parking, which is all pay to park. The park has so many areas to enjoy that it would take many visits to see it all. This is the best park in the city and has almost everything anyone could want from a park. The only downsides are dogs that are not cleaned up after and the children's playground is really not very good at all. The playground is unique, but vastly too small for the size of the park and the number of children wanting to play. It is good for children 1-5, after that, there is no playground for the older kids to play on. And this is the best playground in the area.
  • Very nice relaxed place until some weirdo tells the game warden you are fishing like that is some crime. LOL. Make sure you have a fishing license or it is $500 fine. Very nice Bass fishing if you use some live perch which you can catch with tiny hooks and frozen shrimp or bread or pieces of worms. Then hook the top fin with a decent size hook and with no weight cast it out and let it swim freely and you will get a bass even in the middle of the day.
  • Amazing and versatile park. Came on multiple weekends, once to spend the afternoon on the water renting standup paddle boards, another to come to Austin city limits. The area is kept extremely clean despite the high traffic, and is a superb spot for four legged friends. The grass can get a little thin with the high traffic leading to more dust than you would like, but is otherwise a fantastic spot for any outdoor adventures.
  • Fun little stroll if you want to kill an hour or two. Price is reasonably for entry. You can find a great view of downtown Austin from the Japanese garden.
  • Zilker is a beautiful park, home to Austin City Limits, one of Austins most famous and exciting events every year. During the festival you will find that most, if not everyone, is friendly and open. Diverse and exotic personalities and cultures from around the world can be met with where everyone enjoys the music and jolly atmosphere together. The park is a tapestry of green grass with small hills and landmarks to look around at and the stage distribution is fitting and well planned for such an ocasiĆ³n. If you go alone or better yet in a group, you are sure to have a good time.
