  • Definitely a recommendation for travelers. 1 mile past Hamilton pool. The waterfall and cave are very peaceful. Bring hiking shoes and expect about 1.5 hrs on the tour. Tours are 10/12/2/4 on the week...  more »
  • It's a great place to go to when you find out you're not going to make it inside Hamilton pool. Perfect for families and nature enthusiasts, but only if you take advantage of the tour.
  • Very beautiful place, where you want to be sure to go, if there is a free half-day. Particularly remembered polupeshhernyj pond-fabulous!

  • Enjoyed the guided tour. The place was beautiful. The hike was very nice. Will be back.
  • Gorgeous place and I understand why they only have guided tours but we were hoping to enjoy the water and the park in our own time rather than having to go through a 2 hour tour. It's still gorgeous and fun to see but know that you won't be left in peace to enjoy nature. You'll be in a group with 12+ people learning facts about West Cave Preserve.
  • Amazing gem in Central Texas. Can be tough to find, but worth the journey. Guided tours only. Worth every bit of effort and money. Must see!
  • The Cave itself is beutiful and definately a sight to see. The only thing we did not like was the fact that they only do tours every 2 hrs and the hike down only takes 15-20min one way so for the wait to be so long is a negative. Our tour guide was great she explained everything as we walked along. I'm glad we got to make it on one of the tours, although we had to wait 3 hrs. Don't think we would go back just because of the wait time.
  • This place is just down the road from Hamilton Pool. It is gorgeous! Only drawback is that you can only get down to the cave with a tour guide and you can't just hangout there.
