  • Very beautiful place, where you want to be sure to go, if there is a free half-day. Particularly remembered polupeshhernyj pond-fabulous!

  • Sunday afternoon tours are the least crowded! Don't forget your camera and keep your eyes open for "Texas wildlife."
  • I went here with a church youth group for a stop. We all really enjoyed it. The hike is about 1 1/2 miles round trip. You need to be able to walk on rough terrain and also be able to do stairs. The gu...  more »

  • Enjoyed the guided tour. The place was beautiful. The hike was very nice. Will be back.
  • Gorgeous place and I understand why they only have guided tours but we were hoping to enjoy the water and the park in our own time rather than having to go through a 2 hour tour. It's still gorgeous and fun to see but know that you won't be left in peace to enjoy nature. You'll be in a group with 12+ people learning facts about West Cave Preserve.
  • Amazing gem in Central Texas. Can be tough to find, but worth the journey. Guided tours only. Worth every bit of effort and money. Must see!
  • The Cave itself is beutiful and definately a sight to see. The only thing we did not like was the fact that they only do tours every 2 hrs and the hike down only takes 15-20min one way so for the wait to be so long is a negative. Our tour guide was great she explained everything as we walked along. I'm glad we got to make it on one of the tours, although we had to wait 3 hrs. Don't think we would go back just because of the wait time.
  • This place is just down the road from Hamilton Pool. It is gorgeous! Only drawback is that you can only get down to the cave with a tour guide and you can't just hangout there.
