  • Love, love, love this store. They have great items from all over at all prices. I bought myself some things and some early holiday gifts. Staff is super helpful and friendly. They greet every person w...  more »
  • Very nice store -- Unlike Un.Objects, you can actually find some affordable gifts for yourself / and for others. Not all bargains though --- they are selling a Mousepad for $20 LOL. In the back of the...  more »
  • Staff are very friendly and store items are so beautiful and unique. Every time I'm in the Austin area, I always drop by.

  • This large emporium carries handmade gifts from all over the world, with a heavy Latin American influence. Shopping here is like being in a cultural bazaar with multiple countries represented. If you are looking to add some global influence to your home decor, this is the place to go. It's also worth mentioning that the prices are very reasonable.
  • Great merchandise, but I have to echo previous reviewers about the staff's attitude. A friend and I were purchasing a gift when it started to pour outside. I asked if we could have a plastic sack so we could put my friend's shoes in it (suede shoes she didn't want to get wet). The manager responded rudely that they don't give plastic but I could have a paper sack for my purchase. I asked if I could get another paper sack to put her shoes in and, after smirking at me, she said "no, we don't do that." I was kind of taken aback. I completely understand not wanting to give extra sacks for fear someone may use them to walk off with merchandise, but we were purchasing stuff, about to walk out the door, and it was pouring outside. It wasn't the fact that they wouldn't give us the extra sack, it was how rude they were about it. I can't say I'll ever go back after that experience.
  • Kinda expensive. All imported, so not really great if you're trying to find local items or gifts
  • Fun store with plenty of unique items. The prices are a bit high most likely due to property value of south congress and the droves of tourists.
  • Just left the store. Yes has great merchandise but some of the staff are not welcoming. My wife found 2 pairs of earrings on a rack labeled $4.00 once at the counter the girl told us they were $18 a piece as my wife paid for the rest of the stuff I walked over to the rack to find a lady taking them off too which I said this is where my wife found the earrings. This lady rudely said, "I KNOW THAT'S WHAT I WAS TELLING HER (pointing to the other worker who was really nice) THEY SHOULDN'T BE THERE." So I walked back to the register with my wife. Asked the young lady at the register who that rude lady was...come to find out she is the manager (Julia). She approached the register and I told her, "the way you responded to me was kind of rude and I didn't appreciate a simple I'm sorry sir but they were on the wrong rack could have done" she looked at me with a smerk and said " well sorry" as we walked out this lady proceeds to talk about us with other staff at the register and starts laughing. I believe it's a great store but if all the managers are like this Julia lady then I will pass. I am usually one to comment on the good but this was a humiliating experience that should not go unlooked cause I would hate for anyone else to go through this. Thank you to the young lady with the short spikey hair and beautiful smile that returned our purchase after this whole mess happened we did not care to keep the products. And to Julia a little constructive criticism: when working in retail a smile and politeness go a long way with staff and customers alike. Thank You
