  • Very crowded store and museum. If you're comfortable walking on plywood this is your stop. Lots of false advertisement and rude employees. Biggest "exhibit" is a sham.
  • Surprised by the exhibits and was pretty unbelievable. A must visit on the 6th street. The guide for the ice man was amazing
  • We had asked some locals about this place to mediocre reviews and we were already wary of spending money on another "boutique museum". In fact, we were so wary that we did not go into the actual pay s...  more »

  • Holy hoax, Batman! I am all about the weird & entertaining, but DON'T waste your money here. It's not worth it. + staff is wildly friendly + interesting gift shop with insect Kelsey & bottled animal anomalies - the museum is the size of a bathroom; literally one room with about 15 "weird" objects - all fake artifacts including haunted skeleton, 3-headed stuffed goat & a mermaid man - side show, while entertaining, is a fake - overpriced for seeing basically nothing
  • I give it two stars simply because your staff is incredibly friendly. I see so many 5 stars and I just can't fathom why. I had a group of four and was so disappointed that I spent nearly $50. The exhibits were certainly weird but most were fake. The iceman seemed fake as well, from what could be made out from the spotty ice. The performer seemed to be miserable. The coolest part was the supposedly Johnny Depp used to rent the top apartment, which I haven't yet fact checked. I guess you need to be a believer in these legends to find most of the museum interesting.
  • Interesting but not really worth $12. A minor curiosity but with not much else to see on 6th street besides bars, it's a diversion.
  • The staff is so helpful, knowledgable, honest & kind! I accidentally left my purchase by their door & one of the employees ran it down the street to us. He was amazing! We didn't have time to visit the museum itself, but the shop was pretty neat & had a lot of interesting, out-of-the-ordinary gift ideas.
  • It's something fun to do. I don't recommend taking young kids. My 3 1/2 year old barely made it inside before freaking out. My 7 yr old came out crying because of the ghost story
