  • The store has a lot of great and fun things; you can definitely find something for everyone. The museum - at $12 per person - is not super expensive, but it is a lot smaller than I thought it would be...  read more »
  • We paid $ 12/person the entrance of the Museum, and there is nothing to see! At best you take a photo in the hands of the status of king kong! Go back!

  • Hoped off the double decker bus at the first stop, the Museum of the Weird. Was thrilled that my dachshund Nefertiny was welcomed within the walls. John the "human oddity", that's what he called himse...  read more »
  • I give it two stars simply because your staff is incredibly friendly. I see so many 5 stars and I just can't fathom why. I had a group of four and was so disappointed that I spent nearly $50. The exhibits were certainly weird but most were fake. The iceman seemed fake as well, from what could be made out from the spotty ice. The performer seemed to be miserable. The coolest part was the supposedly Johnny Depp used to rent the top apartment, which I haven't yet fact checked. I guess you need to be a believer in these legends to find most of the museum interesting.
  • The staff is so helpful, knowledgable, honest & kind! I accidentally left my purchase by their door & one of the employees ran it down the street to us. He was amazing! We didn't have time to visit the museum itself, but the shop was pretty neat & had a lot of interesting, out-of-the-ordinary gift ideas.
  • It's something fun to do. I don't recommend taking young kids. My 3 1/2 year old barely made it inside before freaking out. My 7 yr old came out crying because of the ghost story
  • A small collection of fun old carnival and circus curio's and the actual nigh legendary Ice Man. Great gift shop! Cool Austin staff.
  • I wasn't sure about this place when my GF took me here, but it was surprisingly entertaining. The guy that conduct electricity through his body is awesome. Really good showman. The gift shop actually has some pretty cool figurines/ dolls that are creepy, yet oddly fascinating at the same time.
