Where to stay in Austin

Austin bills itself as the "Live Music Capital of the World," so it shouldn't come as a surprise that many of its hotels sell out long before the city's popular festivals. If you wish to stay near downtown's live music scene, look for package deals and book your accommodations well in advance. If downtown clubs and bars aren't your priority, consider hotels located just outside the central part of town, in comfortable areas where you won't need a car to get to most of the city's major cultural sites.

  • Came to celebrate my best friends birthday. We had a blast bowling, laser tag, rock climbing, glow in the dark golf, billiards and food!!! So much fun and great for kids too.  more »
  • Most of the facility hasn't been updated, especially the indoor golf. Very hot and dank in there! Laser tag was good. Food and bowling overpriced. Many staff just standing around talking to each other...  more »
  • We went during the week and it was pretty quiet. No wait times. They have a good sized arcade (I miss the tickets... all points get loaded to your card), bowling, lazer tag, mini golf, and tons of oth...  more »

  • I got all three of my granddaughters the 1895 unlimited Play card. It was totally worth it! They probably laser tag like 4 times. They rock climb for about an hour. And they did two games of bowling. Nana had a couple of vodka tonics and they were not bad
  • The kids had a great time. The facility is new & clean. If you can find one, staff members are helpful but look to be stressed and spread pretty thin. I really wish that everything was all-inclusive, then I wouldn't have spent so much money that I could've went to a theme park
  • My grandson was visiting me in Austin, Texas and I decided to take him to this venue. Immediately I was impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment. We enjoyed the arcade games. However, I found them to be relatively expensive. The bowling alley was the most enjoyable area in the building.
  • Came here with some friends and I had a blast! We opted the 30-min bowling and I liked the arena with the cool lights. I'm glad they have a huge selection of bowling balls for different hand sizes. We then went to the mini golf and had a blast. Some folks may not like the glow in the dark, but we found it to be more challenging which added to the enjoyment. I also liked how every couple holes there was a wheel you can spin to spice things up such as being able to roll the ball with your hands, have an opponent play with eyes closed, have opponent play with the club behind their backs, and much more. Good value and great time. I'll be back!
  • great place for fund... aka they have bowling, rock climbing, arcade based games, and even in door glow in the dark putt putt golf. However keep in mind that they are usually understaffed at the bar and take forever to get you drinks... it never fails... I promise you that.
