  • Fun atmosphere, good food, great beer. Lots of cider choices. Lots of families.. when we went, lots of mud, so careful if it rains around your trip time.
  • Jester King is about 25 minutes west of downtown Austin in a cluster of breweries and distilleries. It makes a great half day trip to drive that way and visit several stops. Jester King I believe is t...  read more »

  • Reminds me of my home state of Maine. Euro style seating outside, very chill and friendly atmosphere. I prefer a good Hefe or Becks, so the beer is not really to my taste.
  • Their beers are top notch, and having guest beers and wines on tap is a great addition to level out all the sours that are in your belly. The experience of just hanging out at Jester King to me is the best part of it. A huge farm with tables (and umbrellas) scattered across the lot and has inside and outside stations for pouring *weather permitted. We came on Memorial Day weekend which is one of the busiest weekends all year and we still have an amazing and smooth experience. The men who were pouring beers outside were telling us what was rotating on taps outside and helped us try things that we wouldn't have picked out for ourselves, but was quite delicious.
  • Go for the experience, and be sure to include plenty of time for a meal at the adjacent pizza place and time for standing in line. The beer is usually funky, and we've had a few misses, but their marketing is spot on: you won't likely have the same flavor twice. Is that commendable? You'll have to go to find out. I'm spoiled to be local, since it's becoming so well known that people from other states will make the trip.
  • Wonderful! It was liking walking up to a party when we got there; chandeliers hanging from big oak trees, picnic tables everywhere filled with people and live music on the patio. We stopped in for the brewery tour which was great and stuck around to enjoy some more beer and hard cider with our pizza under the Pavillion. Great fun!
  • Jester King is simply put one of the best brewery experiences. They do their best to brew beer in the traditional Belgium/farmhouse manner and that passion really comes through in the beer (all of it is delicious). The brewery is essentially a big farm with lots of picnic tables available. Lots of beer to try on site and lots of bottles you can buy to take home. Honestly though, the best part is on the weekends it gets really crowded but the team runs like a well oiled machine. If you find yourself in Austin and enjoy breweries, Jester King is a must visit.
