  • Very cool open space with a rustic feel and great beer. Family and dog friendly. Take the tour. Informative and not too long.  more »
  • Heard great things about Jester King and decided to visit as I was in the area. Turned off the main road and on to a series of lesser roads as we got closer. Still noticed heavier than expected traffi...  more »

  • Great selection of eclectic sours and funky beers. Awesome outdoor seating area in the middle of Austin hill country. The perfect place on a sunny day. One of the best brewery tours. Great to get the tour of their unique natural fermentation process.
  • This place is awesome. It's a huge outdoor area with tons of open space to hang out, play bags, and just enjoy the weather. Jester King makes some of the best Wild and sour ales in the world. I visited on a hot (86 degrees) February day and the place was absolutely packed. They had an outdoor draft and bottle line in case you didn't want to wait for the line going inside. The beers were fantastic. It's definitely off the beaten path, but well worth a visit.
  • Beers here are so interesting. They all have very peculiar notes, with complexities you have to pay attention to. Almost like drinking wine. I can see why some people may not like them if they aren't beer aficionados, but this is hands down my favorite brewery in the Austin area. They even grow a lot of their own crops they sometimes infuse into the beer (like figs or grapefruit, etc.). Beers are never sweet though, it's always a really subtle infusion of something cool, no matter what you get.
  • Loved the grounds. Texas hill country with awesome views and great beers. Weather was great so that really added to the experience. While there were lines, there were several spots to buy beer which made getting a drink that much easier. Had options outside of farmhouse ales which aren't everyone's cup of tea. Bottles to go tent was real convenient on the way out.
  • This is a pretty incredible place for craft beer. We were only here for a short time but it would be easy to spend an afternoon in their sprawling outdoor patio. They also have a pretty incredible bottle to go list.
