Without a parachute you will float on a cushion of air that is generated from four powerful fans during the one-hour experience. The vertical wind tunnel requires no jumping but allows visitors to "fly" inside the enclosed chamber. No experience is necessary and all visits are led by a personal trained and accredited instructor. Where to stay in Austin

Austin bills itself as the "Live Music Capital of the World," so it shouldn't come as a surprise that many of its hotels sell out long before the city's popular festivals. If you wish to stay near downtown's live music scene, look for package deals and book your accommodations well in advance. If downtown clubs and bars aren't your priority, consider hotels located just outside the central part of town, in comfortable areas where you won't need a car to get to most of the city's major cultural sites.

  • My daughter, 2 teen grandsons, and I went to iFLY as a surprise stop on our birthday bash get-away. I wasn't sure that I would even participate, wondering if I was "too old" and might get hurt. Daniel...  more »

  • So much fun!!!! Jake was the best instructor. We have a 9 year old son with autism and he didn't want to go in. Jake worked with him and not only got him to go in, but by the time we left he wanted to do it again. My teen daughter loved it! We all had fun and left with another package to go again. It was worth the trip and money. Thank you Jake for going above and beyond to give us a family trip we could all enjoy!!
  • Really fun indoor skydiving. Fun for all ages 3 to 103. One of the most thrilling safe ways to bring up your heart rate. Would recommend to anyone.
  • Absolutely fantastic! Skydiving was on my bucket list, but at 60 and with health issues, I was hesitant to do it. I offered my grandson the option of rodeo carnival rides or iFLY, and was surprised that he chose iFLY! As first timers, the adventure was exciting and scary at the same time. Our instructor Drew was so caring, patient, fun, and enthusiastic that it just made for a once in a lifetime flying experience for me and my grandson, that we will never forget. I am sure we will be back and although once was enough to scratch off my bucket list, my grandson is now an eager enthusiast ready to learn more!!! Thanks so much!!!!
  • Fun family activity. You will need to make a reservation on the weekends, but called Saturday morning and was able to get one for that night. All of the staff is super friendly and helpful. They will answer any questions you have and make sure you're comfortable. Amy's and Phil's Ice House are right next door too!
  • Way more fun than you think it is! I was nervous to try it out since I'm a bigger guy, but it was awesome! This is one of those cool things you take visitors to if they're adventurous. The coolest thing is the discounted return visits they sell you after you try it. I've done crazy things in my younger days but jumping out of a perfectly good airplane was never on the list. I'm glad my wife talked me into this one!
