  • Very cool slice of history in the heart of Austin.
  • Sunday Petanque 1 to 5, bring wine and cheese and you will fit right in
  • Top notch historical site and park. I love the views and I love the ambience.
  • It's a beautiful place!
  • Austin may not suffer from excessive urban noise, but the French Legation is notably quieter than its surroundings. Or at least it feels that way. Unfortunately I missed the tour by ten minutes on my visit, but you're allowed to explore the grounds freely during opening hours, so I did just that. The rocking chairs on the Historic House's porch are rocking.
