  • The facility is now world class. The addition of beer has made the deal complete. Now could we never LOSE again here!  more »

  • I was fortunate to attend the Veterans Day game against Kansas. The stadium is already a showpiece with the number of veteran memorials throughout the stadium but to be there on Veterans Day was epic!...  more »

  • 1st time I had been in the stadium in years so being at the top gave me a good perspective of how big the stadium is. The issue I have is not climbing all those stairs to get to the top, but climbing down. The steps of the stairs are not the same size so it made you feel unsure going down. I can see a person, and not just those who have been drinking, falling. We had an older couple going down in front of us and they had to go really slow. The food was mediocre. The big pretzel was a good dog toy. The hotdog was pretty bad. The nachos were pretty cold. I guess if you had a few beers they taste great....lol. Eh, but I don't drink. Traffic after the game is typical Austin, it took us 2 hrs to get home in North Austin. The atmosphere was great. The stadium was loud and the UT fans were cordial, though there was harmless banter between us and them. So kudos to the Longhorn fans, because our Tech fans can be obnoxious. Other than the food and stairs we had a great time.
  • Great Stadium, easy access around the concourses. Concessions are a little overpriced but still a great venue to watch a football game In.
  • Really nice stadium, lots of great food and beverage options. Finding parking and your seat can take some time so plan on at least an hour for that.
  • Great experience. College football at the top level. Unforgettable. Electrical atmosphere with other top teams.
  • I went to the Texas longhorns spring football game. The orange team against the white team. It was my first time going to a ut game of any sorts and I was impressed with the size of the stadium. It was special and the scoring made it better. The game went into overtime and the orange team which is the defense won 52-51. It was loud and the high scoring made it even special. I got in for free because it was free attendance for the spring gm. Lots of places to get things to eat and sitting directly behind the cheerleaders and near the field was amazing. Hook em

Where to stay in Austin

Austin bills itself as the "Live Music Capital of the World," so it shouldn't come as a surprise that many of its hotels sell out long before the city's popular festivals. If you wish to stay near downtown's live music scene, look for package deals and book your accommodations well in advance. If downtown clubs and bars aren't your priority, consider hotels located just outside the central part of town, in comfortable areas where you won't need a car to get to most of the city's major cultural sites.
