  • Incredible selection of produce, fresh meat and seafood. The bakery has an awesome variety of desserts and breads and they're precooked food selection is enormous. The grocery aisles are stocked with specialty items that you simply can't find at an HEB. All this, and the cool little cafe in the corner, makes for one of the best grocery stores in the south side. (Just food though, Central Market isn't really the kinda place to buy dish soap and toilet paper.)
  • Like all in Austin , you find the best in Central Market. It's a big size store with a great selection of just about everything you want. My favorites are the bread section at the bakery, including great macaroons . Also the cheeses from around the world. Great restaurants to eat inside of the store and outside, live music in the summer. Last time I was there with my son and I spend almost 3 hours there , eating , shopping and listening to great music and making new friends.
  • Great place to shop and hang out. AWESOME views and great product selection. Great way to spend the day on the weekend, and they always have something happening. Amazing store, we love it!
  • The "Austin" place to shop. Great for organic and health specialty food. Salad and soup bar where you can make plates to go. Fresh cooked entrees and sides such as salmon, pecan crusted fish, chicken, carrots, sweet potato's, and more that can be taken in small self servings are large containers to go for family meals or lunches. Reasonably priced. Large wine and beer isle. The beer is a lot of craft and specialty brews. They have a large bakery always putting out samples and fresh baked goods from bread to cakes to cookies. ** Check out their website for their "Strolls" where you can come in and they have 10-15 vendors throughout the store that provide you samples of their themed stroll. My favorites are the Thanksgiving Stroll, Wine Stroll, Beer Stroll, and Valentines Day Stroll.
  • Arrived at 10.25. Looking forward to ordering 2 omelettes for my wife and I. Waited in line for over 5 minutes. Rudely informed that breakfast not served after 10.30. Rudely refused to make exception even though we were in line well before cut off time. Obviously don't need my business. Feeling is mutual
