  • Stopped in on our visit here to get my refills to take back to Houston. Anything and everything you could want, especially from back in the day growing up. Take time to really look, you will be pleasa...  more »
  • Lots of different candy. My teens liked it but nothing we don't see in other towns. Fairly dirty place.
  • There are those places where you want to go almost every day of your life ... which is slightly complicated when you live literally on the other side of the planet, but one way is always and everywhere. Seriously, the Big Top Candy Shop is one of the nicest memories that I cherish of my numerous trips to Texas. My father was born and raised in Austin and whenever we go there all together we do regularly go to this little shop of wonders. We are so innanorati that sometimes my dad even makes a jump alone during a break from his business trips to ripotarci home in Italy entire bags full of all good things: delicious tastes of delicious chocolates, taffy, caramel, jelly beans and so on and so on and so forth! They really all conceivable candies, for all tastes and ages. Of course, you can nominate the most strange and which constitute a genuine attraction (for example, the lollipops that contain insects and scorpions). But who has tastes a little more "classics" don't test at all disappointed: Here you are spoilt for choice. And if you need any help or advice, just ask the guys at the counter, they are always super nice and willing to help you with the most sincere of smiles on their faces. One of the most beautiful and distinctive shops of Austin: not to be missed!

  • Great selection of all types of candy, from tons of unique salt water taffy flavors, to great bulk selections, to rarer pre-packaged candy bars, all in addition to some house made selections as well.
  • This is a very fun place! Loved the variety. The old big top feel. You will spend a lot if you are not careful, but the gummy things are not overpriced, and are funny shapes and tasty too! Just go, you'll love it!!!
  • I've been here every time I come to Austin and it's always a fun experience. There is always at least 3 employees so you never have trouble finding help. The candy variety is so overwhelming you feel like a kid in, well, a candy store! They have bags that you grab and drop any type of candy they have on display. You purchase by weight so it pays off if you want a large variety of items. The sodas that they have are awesome! They have tons of different flavors to choose from so I always get something different each time I go. I love this place and will keep coming back for years to come! 5 stars mang!
  • Has about any candy you can think of even the old ones from back in the day. Great place to take your kids. They also make old school Shakes as well.
  • Greatest candy shop I've ever been in, you'll find crazy old (still edible) candies, made to order sodas are awesome too. Say hi to the Jerk for me.
