Along the Savannah River, the brick-lined Riverwalk brings the old charm of the south to life. You'll step into a subtropical oasis as brick paths draw you past sculpted gardens with fountains and carefully placed benches for taking in the view. Standing atop a coastal ridge, the two-level walkway offers has a children's playground and informative plaques. Part of the river walk includes an outdoor amphitheater, as well as two large downtown water features.   • Really tranquil walk great river front homes. No businesses on the river walk and best of all no parking meters downtown at all. Great place for families with small children.
