Along the Savannah River, the brick-lined Riverwalk brings the old charm of the south to life. You'll step into a subtropical oasis as brick paths draw you past sculpted gardens with fountains and carefully placed benches for taking in the view. Standing atop a coastal ridge, the two-level walkway offers has a children's playground and informative plaques. Part of the river walk includes an outdoor amphitheater, as well as two large downtown water features.   • This place is a nice place to visit for a slow afternoon or morning walk. You can see beautiful homes across the river and get nice pictures. There's not a lot to do in Augusta so this is a nice place...  more »
  • I was there in Augusta for an year. Every weekend I used to visit Riverwalk for a while. Its relaxing and very peaceful. Fresh air, nice views .....I enjoyed a lot. 
  • This venue is just to walk and relax. And you can take some pretty cool shots here as well. Has a park for the kids and a great view of the Savannah River.
