International Market World is a very large flea market just west of Auburndale, Florida. This flea market is on the north side of U.S. Highway 92. Just to its southwest is the intersection of US 92 and Polk Parkway (State Road 570). International Market World is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. Its website posts hours of 8 AM to 4 PM. However, it is evident most vendor stalls are closed by 3:30 PM. Nevertheless, this flea market is the largest one in Polk County, Florida, and it is also one of the largest in central Florida. This flea market has a huge variety of vendors selling a huge variety of new and used items. A number of food concessions offer a variety of foods to eat. One large section is devoted to a number of produce vendors. International Market World offers some entertainment. At times musicians perform and there are sometimes alligator and other animal shows. The fresh fruit and veg are a very good reason to come here. The quality is high, the prices are low and there's a good variety of produce. The rest of the market takes some time to figure out... ther... more »
The pet shop here is horrible. You walk in and it's clustered with birds and other reptiles, they have tarantulas on the front counter and some of them are dead, and there was a dead monitor in a tank. The setups are all wrong, and the owners smoke CONSTANTLY in the shop. Very unprofessional. One of the owners got two feet from me and was telling me he'd see what he could do to get me a tarantula I like in, and was staring at me. Some animals can not be close together because it can cause lung infections (reptiles and tarantulas) for one. I am a tarantula and bearded dragon owner (keeping tarantulas for 4 years), and this shop is a disgrace. They do not care for their animals properly, have no water dishes in the tarantula tanks, wrong lighting for dragons and wrong food, and dirty fish tanks and bird cages. This place is very pricey for some animals, especially reptiles, would not recommend this pet shop to anybody, not unless you want to buy an animal with a disorder or diseases. All other parts of the market are great. They have a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and even food trucks. They also have a great selection of bargains and little treasures, overall a good flea market, just would not recommend the pet shop.
lots of fruits and vegetables clothing items unfortunately a lot of plastic Dollar Store type items but. A lot of Florida memorabilia they do have fresh flavored popcorn and little Donuts too thread there is a Native American pow-wow in January
Fantastic farmer's market inside. Fresh & locally grown veggies and fruit, as well as herbs and honey. Also, lots of vendors selling everything under the sun. They have gator shows and even karaoke. Restaurant inside & Mexican food truck outside. In January each year, they host a Native American pow wow event.
I do love it here I go very often. They have wide varieties of produce and goods, and lots of items both new and used. Yummy food stands and they have a free mini circus for the kids daily . There is something for everyone. Downfalls are that some vendors are cash only (I hate carrying cash especially in crowded places) , only open 8-4 Friday through Sunday and there area vendors that will close up at like 2.
I try to come here anytime I'm in Auburndale. There is a really nice man as you come in, who, I bring my watched too to get new batteries. Also you can find almost anything here. All kinds of gadgets, accessories, linen, rugs, jewelry, just too name few . Oh and the crash market is wonderful, I love all the taste testing :-). The one draw back is,, it id's hot!! In there, the have lots of fan's but it is still hot!!!
