  • A wonderful place that we need to visit again. We would love more time to go through everything in detail. Plus tell our kids more in detail. It was a fun day.  more »
  • We enjoyed seeing the planes and learning more about aviation. The simulators were a hit. Did a 3-D show. It was pretty good.  more »
  • We visited here after the recommendation from a friend and were very pleased we did. A very nice selection of historical military plus a nice assortment of unique vehicles and vintage carriages. Displ...  more »

  • Mom and I chose wisely by picking this for our Smithsonian Museum Day free admission. Lots of cool WWII vehicles on one side, and may interesting custom car show pieces in the other side, including KITT, the A-Team van, and the Batmobile from Batman Returns. They have plenty of room to add more stuff. However, calling themselves the "National" one is definitely a bit presumptuous.
  • We held a conference here. The location was great. They did an excellent job taking care of us and the price was reasonable.
  • We visited during our grandson's Turning Blue and Graduation. It was overwhelming! The volunteers are so educated and helpful. We especially enjoyed the Fife & Drum restaurant atmosphere and believe it should be advertised more to the families for a lunch. With it closing at 5, the lunch hour is a must for dining after graduation or a visit.
  • Great place can see the bat mobile, kit, and the general lee along with history from ww2
  • This museum is a real find. They boast many one of a kind Allied and German vehicles from WWII. They have a lot of floor space and house uniformed mannequins in various poses representative of German and Allied soldiers in WWII. We were lucky enough to have a guided tour by one of the knowledgeable and friendly staff. My son and I had a wonderful time and recommend this if you are in the area and if your not in the area make a detour to Auburn, and see what makes America great.
