  • We went for the first time with Grandkids. It was inexpensive as they got in free. The food was more reasonable that other venues in the area, and very good. A recommendation, pay the extra 2.50 and g...  more »

  • Apart from a few minor frustrations, this is a great place for a day at the races... vastly superior to Hastings in Vancouver. I particularly appreciate the design of the facility, with the paddock so...  more »

  • Fun, horse racing. Costly and very annoying that you have to pay admission, to park then the typical high priced food and beer. You would think free admission so you spend more on the racing.... but no. Interesting and had fun, but not sure it's worth the money.
  • We have been coming here to celebrate my son's birthday for the last ten yrs. It's a great family friendly venue. They allow you to bring in a cooler and food so from grandparents to younsters it's very affordable. (17under reduced or free) The excitement of the races ( we use monopoly money for kids they can buy prize at the end of the day) and genuine fun to be had by all keeps our family 2gthr for 8 hrs or more. We love it! Hope to celebrate another 10 yrs. Yippee!
  • Last night was amazing it was me and my mates first time at the races a very nice lady named Terry helped us through the entire night her real name is Teresa is probably one of the sweetest employees I have ever seen as an organization in my entire life he explained everything to help us understand how and what we were betting and she was so kind and sweet I am so thankful we came here last night it made our date night amazing thank you Emerald Downs for a wonderful experience we will definitely be returning in the near future and I will be recommending this place to everybody...
  • I have never been to a horse track but this place is a repeater. The enjoyment was getting involved in the betting on horses which made it exciting and you don't have to bet big! Nice place to come watch, eat and have fun. Can be crowded and there are lines but doesn't take very long if you know what your doing. Oh, and you can pre bet online! Who knew?..
  • First time at Emerald Downs and really enjoyed the atmosphere! It was my brother-in-laws 35th birthday and we had a number of winners in our group. Looking forward to my next visit!!!
