  • Recently, my husband and I visited the Tropicana Casino. The choice of restaurants was wonderful and the casino had a wide variety of slot machines. We really enjoyed our experience.

  • The hotel room was disappointing compared to the casino. I stayed in the South Tower. All the furniture was very worn, carpet appears old and dirty and it was evident that they have not vacuumed underneath the furniture in a long time. First night there was a cockroach running across the tv stand, however receptionist was very nice and seemed willing to accommodate anything I wanted, did see one more before checking out. I think the plumbing is somewhat old; in the evening you could smell a rotten egg odor. Would have given lower rating but all the staff I interacted with were very courteous and accommodating. Casino itself is very nice, but could live without the overwhelming cigarette smoke.
  • Nice hotel with good views of the city and the ocean. Cleaning staff are friendly and efficient. Casino, however, always had issues with the slot machines and staff cannot give coherent explanations and were far from reassuring. I saw angry customers arguing with them and walking away defeated.
  • The rate was excellent. The service was excellent. Room service was excellent. The dealers were knowledgeable, fun, engaging. The hallway outside our room smelled of vomit however, which was a bit disturbing.
  • We only came to Tropicana to eat dinner at Hooters because the wings are good and the prices are fair. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive and took care of al of our needs. We sat by the window near the boardwalk- which is also right by the kitchen and gave us a bird's eye view of it. The kitchen wasn't horrible, but it could stand to be cleaned up a bit, and the trash was uncomfortably close to where the cooks were breading and frying the wings. There was no drink menu (they were in the process of redoing it? ) and when I did order a Malibu Bay Breeze, I paid 8 dollars for a glass of juice, as I've gotten stronger drinks for free on the casino floor.
  • We visited for the buffet which was pricey at $30. The food was good and the seafood was cooked correctly. Nothing over cooked or dry. We enjoyed our meal there.
